At Hamre Familiecamping in Kristiansand, there's sun, ice cream and children's fun - but also structure, order and quality behind the scenes. Because when you're running one of southern Norway's most popular campsites with over 50 seasonal employees, there's one thing that counts: good training<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And this year they've done it in a new and smart way: with e-learning.<\/p>\n

Previously, management had to spend many man-hours training employees one by one, manually. Now it happens digitally - before the season starts.<\/p>\n

- We spend fewer hours on practical training because employees are prepared when they arrive. This gives us financial gain<\/strong>but also better service<\/strong> for our guests.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Through co-operation with Norsk Interaktiv<\/strong> they have set up their own training universe with customised courses. All available online and customised to the employee's role.<\/p>\n

With courses in everything from first aid to how to empty rubbish correctly, the campsite is building a culture of quality and safety.<\/p>\n

- We recognise that our employees feel safer<\/strong> and more competent. This is reflected in better feedback - both from them and from guests,\" says the manager.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Despite their busy schedules, the management team felt that simple and surprisingly fun<\/strong> to set up the course portal.<\/p>\n

- It was a low threshold to get started, and a lot of fun to create content that actually gets used. We'll see how it works in practice!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
